Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to speak at design events and teach at renowned institutions, experiences that have been incredibly fulfilling. Sharing my knowledge and engaging with aspiring designers allows me to give back to the community while inspiring me to keep evolving.

- Guest lecturer at ESPM University in Brazil to speak at the 20th anniversary of the Bachelor’s Design program.

I presented the lecture "From the Studio to the Office: The Rise of the Designer in the Corporate World as a Business Strategist," where I shared insights on how designers are transitioning from creative studios to corporate environments, becoming decision-makers rather than only executing ideas. I also highlighted the unique approach of ESPM’s design course, which blends creativity with business acumen.


- Guest lecturer at The Nine, a female-focused private member’s club based in Brussels, Belgium.

I presented the lecture "Hidden Challenges of Success for Women," where, along with other female professionals, I shared my experiences as a Brazilian Black woman working in the corporate environment in Europe, navigating challenges such as gender bias, balancing personal and professional expectations, and advancing to leadership positions.


- Guest lecturer invited by Elas Codam (“They Code”), a platform that fosters the inclusion of women in the tech field.

I presented the lecture "Design Systems: The Importance of Standardizing Projects," where I discussed how design systems create consistency and efficiency in digital products. I explained the benefits of standardizing components, such as enhancing user experiences through cohesive interfaces, and streamlining updates and scalability. I also shared practical examples of implementing design systems in complex projects, highlighting their role in maintaining brand identity and speeding up the design process.


- Guest lecturer invited by ESPM University in Brazil to give a masterclass to Graphic Design students in their final academic year.

I presented the lecture "Creating a Design Culture in the Corporate Environment," where I explored how integrating design thinking into a company’s culture drives innovation and business growth. I discussed strategies for fostering a design-centric mindset, including cross-functional collaboration, user-centered thinking, and empowering teams to experiment. I also shared insights from my experience in corporate environments across different markets, highlighting the challenges and rewards of advocating for design as a strategic business tool.


- Interview for UX Para Minas Pretas, a Brazilian platform created by and for Black women, focused on increasing employability in the digital market through social impact initiatives.

I shared my experiences as a designer working abroad, discussing the challenges and opportunities of navigating different cultural and professional landscapes. I also talked about breaking stereotypes, overcoming biases, and leveraging my background to bring unique perspectives to global design projects, aiming to inspire and empower other Black women to pursue international careers.

I was featured in an article by BBC Brazil titled "Who Are the Brazilian Professionals Making a Name for Themselves Abroad," where I shared my experiences as a designer working internationally.
